In this era of virtual gaming many companies began putting out new games introducing new and exciting ideas. While the games were fun certain people were more interested in the potential of the dive system itself. Behind the scenes Kouto Arami (Xehanort) had been working with other conspirators to gain power by means of the system. What he was planing personally was a secret only he knew.
While working on this he was brought onto a project between Disney and Square Enix called Kingdom Hearts. The game would mix Final fantasy RPG elements and the Disney universe. Players would visit Disney worlds and experience the stories in a new and exciting way. Over time he and his team were put in charge of the project and they began messing with the system behind the scenes.
Opening day came and the game was sold out in all stores as quickly as it had hit the shelves. Players entered their starter worlds only to be told by a cloaked figure they would no longer be able to log out. He told them that they would not be able to leave the game until it was beaten. The players are now desperately trying to find a way to end the game quickly with as little casualties as possible while others are out for their own lives.
