When his mom said that this new video game of his could possibly take him away from his important studies, he probably should have listened to her. No scratch that he SHOULD have listen to her. This was clear when he logged into the game and found out that he wasn't able to log out. He even tried multiple times, but nothing worked and this caused him to panic badly. During his little episode he ran off from his starting area and got lost. Right now he was in a alley way of some sort calming down.

IF I GO AWAY, WHAT WOULD STILL REMAIN OF ME? LEVEL 1 - NINJA | WEAPON - NAGAMITSU (KATANA) | ALIGNMENT - NEUTRAL "i've been waiting, long forgotten," shipwrecked on a distant shore "am i drifting, no more wanted," floating outward, oblivion?
One thing about this whole game deal, is the fact that he would have never logged in if he knew he couldn't log out. It had already been half a day, he tried logging out several times but there was never any disconnect. Something was either wrong with the servers or … well, he didn't think there was anything suspicious at this point. It could just be a glitch in the system, he was sure they were working on it now as he waited. But, he did have to text Layla back, like yesterday. He had been so busy with preparations in getting into the game and tying up some loose ends so he could spend the next couple of days playing. Playing something he had worked on close to his heart. His first real move in his career.
Now, he was in one of the locations of the game, Twilight town. It was a pleasure to see it come to life so vibrantly, the way the team and him had worked on it, made it that much more satisfying to see. It was bright, cheerful and the non-playables were friendly. He knew they weren't real though, but it didn't stop it from being a great atmosphere. He walked through the town, hood down, off his cloak, chewing on a strawberry jelly filled donut. He swallowed a bit, looking down at it in awe. “Tastes like the real thing. The programmers did an all awesome job.”
He smiled to himself a little as he turned into an alleyway, stopping in his tracks at someone who was small and looked lost. He tilted his head a little, walking forward. They didn't look like an NPC, an NPC wouldn't be standing in an alleyway with no directions to give. Not to mention there wasn't an icon above his head. He was also colorful in a different way from the people in town. Lea took another bite of his donut, then reached up to wipe a bit of powdered sugar out of the corner of his mouth, looking at his black gloved finger as he swished it between to his middle to get off the excess. He stopped in front of the kid. “Well hello there. What brings you here?,” he asked, lip curling into a corner, into a smirk. “I bet it's the donuts. Food makes the world go round after all. or is it sweets? I don't know, man but I know it's food.” 0000 WORDS | [attr="class","torri"]@deltra |
